Job Overview / Responsibilities: 
  • 3-5 years experience working in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Big 4 Advisory or for a Lead Project Developer
  • This project development role requires involvement in the full lifecycle of project development (qualification, bidding, financial close, construction + operation) and therefore the candidate would ideally have a blend of technical and commercial / financial experience
  • Exposure to one or more of the following infrastructure sectors: utilities (power and water), social infrastructure (education, healthcare), transport (seaports, airports) and digital infrastructure (data centres)
  • Understanding of the Public Private Partnership model and its application in infrastructure projects
  • Understanding of transaction related documentation, such as exclusivity letters, MOUs, Joint Development Agreements and Shareholder Agreements
  • Understanding of project-related documentation, such as Project Agreements / Concession Agreements, Building Contracts and Facilities Management Contracts
  • Understanding and ability to operate project finance models, with an understanding of financial statements and valuation approaches and metrics (IRR, DCF, EV/EBITDA)
  • Assist with the screening, selection and appointment of external advisors (technical, commercial, legal and financial) and assist in managing those advisors throughout the bid process
  • Produce project development timelines, identify critical paths and ensure bid development activities remain on time and on budget
  • Produce development budgets and manage the spending of the budget across various advisory workstreams
  • Preparation Investment Committee papers and status updates for shareholders and CEO
