Responsible for planning and achieving annual sales volume and pipeline targets, managing the account management team, providing professional insurance advice and leadership, contract negotiation, insurance portfolio audit and design, as well as business development activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide training and updates to team/partners for all new product enhancements and changes
  • Ensure in-depth knowledge of all insurance classes
  • Understand the risk appetite of partner insurers
  • Track and compare competitors and conduct gap analysis
  • Create partner segmentation feasibility studies for financial target achievement
  • Create a sales plan with identified key accounts in selected segments with closure timelines
  • Develop commercial initiatives to conduct presentations, demonstrations or workshops for clients
  • Responsible to develop regional account plan
  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with clients
  • Advise key account clients on insurance portfolio design, policy conditions, clauses and exclusions
  • Negotiate and close agreements to maximize profits with key accounts, partner stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of product solutions according to
    partner’s needs and objectives
  • Build a partner pipeline and conduct cross channel activities
  • Create, manage and achieve the monthly initiatives to meet sales targets
  • Develop new business channels and identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new partners and developing existing partner relationships
  • Maintain excellent customer needs and quality service through pulse survey feedback and enhancement initiatives
  • Manage customer service complaints, concerns and follow up requirements
  • Build and maintain strong and long-lasting client relationships through structured stakeholder management plans and tracking
  • Build and create stakeholder’s portfolio
  • Act as a representative for the company to ensure customer service targets met to improve the customer experience
  • Responsible for keeping current partners satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
  • Resolve all issues or business obstacles pending with partners
  • Liaise between the partners and internal departments and teams
  • Ensure direct manager and any relevant or assigned dotted line manager is aware of KPIs, progress and ongoing requirements
  • Conduct high-level communication (written, verbal) to all managers to ensure knowledge sharing and efficient processes.
  • Foster cross functional team approach to meet department and corporate targets
  • Set, support and monitor the performance and development of all direct reports
  • Provide regular check-ins for professional and performance feedback
  • Support the development of corporate culture and promote employee engagement, team effectiveness, and skills enhancement 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Economics
  • ACII completion or initiated
    MBA or Master’s Degree in the relevant field is an asset
    Preferred Experience:
    8-10 years of experience, preferably with blue-chip companies in the following industries: insurance, banking, the management or technical consulting

    • Advanced motivational, negotiation and analytical skills
    • Excellent insurance product knowledge and technical skills
    • Solid experience on CRM software (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, etc)
    • Excellent MS word, excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Arabic language skills are an asset
